New York Roadside has been dispatching tow trucks and roadside help across the five boroughs since 2018. We're not a national call center routing your call to whoever bids lowest — we're a local NYC operation with our own trucks, our own drivers, and our own dispatchers answering the phone 24 hours a day.

Today our trucks stage from yards in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island so dispatch can hit a typical 30–45-minute response time anywhere in the city — including the FDR, BQE, Cross Bronx, Belt Parkway, and every bridge and tunnel connecting them.

How we got here

We started in 2018 with a single flatbed and a frustration shared by every New Yorker who has ever waited two hours for a tow truck that never quoted a price up front. The operation grew the same way New York grows — block by block. How a call actually goes

1. You call 718-719-1874. Tell our dispatcher where you are and what's wrong. If you're on a highway, give us the nearest exit.
2. We quote the full price. Hookup, mileage, fuel, lockout, or winch — locked in before a truck rolls.
3. A local truck is dispatched. You get the driver's number by text so you can track the rescue.
4. We get you moving. Most jobs are wrapped in under 30 minutes once we're on-scene.
